You’re Not Behind. You’re on Allah’s Timing.

Have you ever looked over at another person’s journey and said to yourself, “I should be more advanced by now” ?

Perhaps it’s your life, career, business, marriage, deen, or recovery — it’s easy to feel behind. As if you’re standing still while everyone else is getting somewhere.

But the reality you must understand is this:

You are not behind. You’re exactly where Allah  wanted you to be.

Everyone Has a Unique Qadr

As Muslim women, we believe in qadr — God’s decree. That is, our life has already been written with wisdom far greater than we can possibly understand. Your way isn’t late. It’s tailored. What is written on your life won’t pass you by. And what isn’t, regardless of how you chase it, will never grant you peace. Instead of fretting over the timing, just have faith in The One who wrote it.

“Indeed, your Lord is never unjust to His servants.”  – Qur’an 41:46

1. Slower Doesn't Mean Lesser

We live in a world that worships speed. Fast money. Fast growth. Fast achievement. But Islam is all about telling us that sincerity and consistency are greater virtues than speed. Small actions done with a good conscience are beloved by Allah. You don’t have to scream, be famous, or be trending. You just need to be intentional in your work, your worship, and your growth.

“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those done consistently, even if they are small.”  – Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Bukhari)

2. Delays Are Still Progress

Maybe your business hasn’t taken off. Maybe you’re still figuring out your passion. Maybe your imaan feels shaky. It’s okay. Restarts, stops, and changes – all in the process. Growth is not linear – and barakah isn’t rushed. If you’re trying, you’re not failing. And if you’re remembering Allah while doing so, you’re already successful.

3. A Reminder Among Sisters

You’re doing more than you credit yourself for. Your attempt counts, your intentions are seen, and your timeline is not a mistake. Your story is being written with rahmah, although it might appear to be slow.

Keep going.

Not for the love of others, but by Allah’s will — the One who knows what no human being knows.

If this resonated with you, share it with a sister who needs the reminder 🤎
